South Australia Fire and Emergency Services Commission
The South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) ensures, that employees and volunteers from the:
- South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS)
- South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS)
- State Emergency Service (SES)
are provided with the resources and support they need to carry out their vital work. The three services are referred to as Emergency Service Organisations (ESOs).
SAFECOM operates under the guidance of the SAFECOM Board, whose members include the Chief Officers of the MFS, CFS, SES and the SAFECOM Chief Executive Officer.
