Eligibility
An applicant for an ongoing position in the South Australian Government must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status.
An applicant for a contract position must have an appropriate visa, which allows them to work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Graduate Recruitment
The Graduate Recruitment Program seeks to increase the number of university graduates achieving employment in the South Australian public sector.
The Graduate Recruitment Program is a 12 month training and development program that provides a comprehensive and challenging induction into a public sector career path. The Justice Portfolio actively seeks Graduates through this program, particularly suitably qualified Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Graduates.

Government Youth Traineeship Program
These employment opportunities are in support of the Government’s commitment to provide youth, particularly those most disadvantaged, the opportunity to enter the labour market by means of a Traineeship.
A Traineeship combines formal training undertaken at a Registered Training Organisation and on-the-job training (employment) by a State public sector agency. Traineeships are for a period of 12 months.
