Crime Prevention and Community Safety Grants Program

The South Australian Government is committed to keeping our communities safe. To support this commitment and to better equip communities to address local crime and safety issues, the Attorney General’s Department is making funding available for local crime prevention and community safety projects in the 2007 - 2008 financial year.
The maximum grant funding available for any single project is $50,000 (min $10,000). The grant funding is non-recurrent and is available for projects of up to 12 months duration.
To be considered for funding an applicant organisation must meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Grants Program Funding Guidelines and is required to complete an application form that provides details of the auspicing organisation and the project for which funding is sought.
Funding is available for the following Priority Areas;
- Youth
- Indigenous
- High Volume Crime
- Community Capacity Building
- Built Environment
- Violent Crime
