SAPOL claims top award for injury management
Congratulations to South Australia Police (SAPOL), which has won a major State award for its workers’ compensation injury management system.
At the Self Insurers of South Australia Inc (SISA) awards presentation in August, SAPOL’s Injury Management Section received the SISA Injury Management Award in recognition of ‘outstanding achievement in the management of workplace injury’.
An incorporated association, SISA represents most of South Australia’s largest public and private sector employers in occupational health, safety and injury management. Each year it presents six awards to recognise the achievements of these employers.
This award-winning system is assisting SAPOL meet all performance requirements within injury management, as well as helping injured employees to recover and return to work as soon as possible.
